Appearing on the debut album and the Athfest Compilation CD, "Nazareth Song" was a song inspired by the devastating effects of meth in Appalachia. It also takes on a personal tone about redemption, finding yourself and second chances.
John Keane recorded this song and made it come to life by surprising me with adding guitar and piano parts. I love John. He's probably the only person on the planet who can push me and holler at me in the studio without getting a black eye.
I was fortunate enough to have some incredible Athens talent performing on this song.
